Job Description

Job Title: Senior Automation QA Engineer

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using
Selenium WebDriver with Java
.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, Data-Driven, etc.).
Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to understand requirements and define automation scope.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD tools such as
Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
, etc.
Conduct regression testing, functional testing, and API automation as needed.
Perform root-cause analysis for defects and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain test reports, track defects, and provide clear documentation.
Contribute to improving automation processes, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience
in Automation Testing using
Selenium with Java
.
Strong knowledge of
Core Java
, OOP concepts, and exception handling.
Expertise in
TestNG
, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and automation frameworks.
Good understanding of
Page Object Model (POM)
, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
Experience with
Git/GitHub/GitLab
for version control.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as
Jenkins
or similar.
Experience in
API automation
(RestAssured / Postman / Karate) is a plus.
Knowledge of
SQL
and basic database validation.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Good To Have

Experience with
Cucumber (BDD)
or Gherkin syntax.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter) is an advantage.
