Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate in Gurugram, India. The Senior Associate will manage and execute tasks related to M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, as well as corporate and commercial legal matters. Responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing key legal documents, providing strategic legal advice, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role also involves building and managing client relationships and staying up to date on industry developments to effectively support client goals.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in corporate law, M&A transactions, and private equity/venture capital matters
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documentation
• Experience in conducting due diligence and ensuring legal compliance
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills
• Strong client management and interpersonal communication abilities
• Proven ability to handle complex legal challenges with a results-oriented mindset
• LLB or equivalent law degree; additional certifications or qualifications in business law are a plus
• Familiarity with the Indian regulatory and business landscape is a must.
