Role Overview
We are seeking a Consultant – Generative AI to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced Generative AI solutions across business functions. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Engineering, with a proven ability to lead end-to-end AI product lifecycle and mentor data science teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of Generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion models, transformers) for automation, analytics, and productivity use cases.
Architect, train, fine-tune, and evaluate models using Python, R, and modern Deep Learning frameworks.
Build scalable AI pipelines using AWS cloud services, SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.
Oversee feature engineering, data preprocessing, experimentation, and model optimization.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into GenAI solutions.
Manage deployment of AI/ML models in production using MLOps, containerization, and data engineering tools.
Establish best practices, governance, and ethical guidelines for GenAI projects.
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts.
Monitor model performance and drive continuous improvements using analytics and feedback loops.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory)
5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, GenAI, and Analytics, with proven experience delivering production-grade systems.
Expertise in architecting and implementing RAG systems, including embeddings, chunking, semantic search, hybrid search, ranking, grounding, and hallucination prevention.
Advanced proficiency with AWS GenAI and data stack, including:
- AWS Bedrock (Claude)
- SageMaker
- AWS Lambda & API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- OpenSearch Serverless (vector search, hybrid search)
- S3, Glue, EC2
Strong vector database expertise, specifically with Pinecone, ChromaDB, and OpenSearch Serverless vector engine, including schema design, indexing strategies, filtering, and scaling.
Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) and distributed data processing.
Hands-on experience with leading LLM providers, including:
Anthropic Claude models
OpenAI GPT series
Azure OpenAI Service
Meta Llama (Bedrock/Azure)
Proficiency in backend development and serverless API workflows, particularly building Lambda-based microservices, token management, and secure API development.
Deep knowledge of MLOps & DevOps including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, feature stores, and model monitoring.
Strong experimentation and evaluation mindset, capable of designing metrics frameworks for RAG, LLM quality, latency, cost, scalability, and robustness.
Excellent communication abilities to explain technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership experience in AI/ML or GenAI-focused teams or programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise GenAI integration (chatbots, copilots, document automation, RAG pipelines).
Familiarity with big-data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop) and streaming tools (Kafka/Kinesis).
Certifications in AWS, Machine Learning, or AI.
