Job Description

Job title and profile: Senior Analyst

The position is for a Senior Analyst who will be part of the External Ombudsman Team at Thought Arbitrage, assessing ethical business conduct, abuse, fraud and other complaints received through the Vigil Mechanism of various corporate and other clients.


In addition, the candidate may be required to assist in desk research and other project activities based on organisational requirements and the skills of the candidate


The position is for a full-time candidate, on location in New Delhi and the candidate will be reporting to the Director and Senior Manager.


  • Understanding complaints received through the Vigil Mechanism of various clients;
  • Conducting preliminary assessments of complaints;
  • Interacting and communicating with complainants;
  • Drafting assessment reports;
  • Adhering to the Service Line Agreement (SLA) commitments;
  • Client site visits;
  • Meeting with complainants online or in-person (if required);
  • Liaising with clients and client reporting;
  • Investigating complaints (after preliminary assessment) where required by clients;
  • Drafting clear and coherent investigation reports;
  • Research and analysis for other projects including economics, public policy, corporate governance.


Qualifications and experience

  • A Master’s degree accompanied by analytical skills;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in dealing with people and processes, and analysing and probing situations;
  • Candidates looking to re-enter the workforce following a gap may also be considered;
  • Age will not be a constraint; we are looking for experienced and enterprising candidates with the right skills.


Key skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly English;
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical and inter-personal skills;
  • Time management ensuring prompt submission of client reports;
  • Knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (primarily);
  • Highest levels of ethics and integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
  • Team player.


Compensation

Negotiable, commensurate with industry standards.
