Senior Analyst – Distressed Assets

Responsibilities

• Lead financial, legal, and technical due diligence for stressed and distressed assets, preferably real estate.
• Conduct cash-flow modelling, valuation assessments, risk analysis, and scenario planning.
• Review asset condition through site visits and coordinate with consultants, valuers, and legal teams.
• Assess complex, large-ticket transactions and support senior leadership on investment decisions.
• Support the complete acquisition lifecycle — deal evaluation, term sheet preparation, negotiation inputs, and execution.
• Prepare Board/Management notes, transaction memos, repayment structures, and documentation required for closing.
• Liaise with investors, ARC partners, legal advisors, and external stakeholders to drive transaction progress.
• Prepare Resolution Plans as per IBC guidelines, including financial modelling, viability analysis, and structuring.
• Coordinate with Resolution Professionals, CoC members, legal advisors, and other stakeholders during IBC processes.
• Ensure smooth handover and monitoring of acquired assets until transfer to internal teams.
• Coordinate with internal audit, statutory auditors, risk assessment teams, and rating agencies.
• Maintain robust documentation and support regulatory compliance requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
• 3–6+ years of experience in distressed assets, ARC, insolvency, special situations, or real-estate-focused NBFCs.
• Strong exposure to real estate assets, infrastructure, hospitality, manufacturing, or large portfolio evaluations.
• Solid understanding of IBC, security enforcement, restructuring frameworks, and acquisition processes.
• Experience preparing investment memos, term sheets, and transaction documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, financial modelling capability, and ability to work under tight timelines.
