Job Description

Job Title: Accounts AssistantDepartment: Accounts & FinanceLocation: Head Office (Ready Mix Concrete Division)Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance HeadJob Summary:

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance and accounting functions of the RMC company by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in billing, vendor reconciliation, and daily accounting operations. The role requires coordination with plant sites and suppliers to ensure smooth financial management and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP system.
  • Maintain vouchers for cash, bank, purchase, and journal entries.
  • Handle petty cash and daily expense statements.
  • Reconcile daily site collections, fuel bills, and plant-related expenses.

2. Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare and post customer invoices for RMC supplies.
  • Ensure timely collection follow-up with clients.
  • Match delivery challans (DC) and production reports with invoices.

3. Vendor Management

  • Process vendor bills (cement, aggregate, admixture, diesel, etc.).
  • Maintain supplier ledgers and reconcile vendor accounts periodically.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for payment status and TDS-related queries.

4. Bank & Statutory Work

  • Assist in bank reconciliation and fund transfer entries.
  • Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Maintain records required for audit and statutory filings.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with site accountants and plant managers for data collection.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports and management summaries.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all financial records.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience (RMC, construction, or manufacturing preferred).
  • Software Skills: Tally ERP / MS Excel / GST portal knowledge.
  • Key Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination ability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Work Schedule:

  • Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Timing: 1:00 AM – 7:00 PM (or as per company policy)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
