Senior Accountant

Additional Responsibilities: Implementing Accounting Systems: Setting up and maintaining accounting systems and procedures.  Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.  Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.  Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.  Advisory Role: Providing financial advice and guidance to management on various financial matters.  Communication: Communicating financial information to various stakeholders, including management, clients, and auditors.  Team Management: Managing and supervising junior accounting staff.  Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.  Financial Statement Preparation: Creating balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.  Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development of budgets, monitoring spending, and forecasting future financial performance.  Tax Preparation and Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.  Auditing: Conducting both internal and external audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and identify areas for improvement.  Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, assess profitability, and provide insights for decision-making.  Cost Accounting: Analyzing costs, identifying areas for cost reduction, and developing cost control measures.
