Senior Accountant

Qualification

• Post Graduation in Commerce/Finanace/ CA/CMA
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and operations, to provide financial guidance and support.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
