Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Review trial balances, balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports for accuracy.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

2. Taxation (GST, TDS & Other Statutory Requirements)

• Ensure timely and accurate GST computation, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), reconciliations, and compliance.
• Handle TDS deductions, deposits, return filing (24Q, 26Q), and preparation of Form 16/16A.
• Monitor statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants on tax matters and statutory assessments.

3. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other relevant regulations.
• Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee vendor payments, invoice verification, and reconciliation.
• Manage customer billing, collections, and outstanding follow-ups.
• Ensure accurate accounting of expenses, provisions, and accruals.

5. General Administration & Support

• Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Support management with financial analysis and MIS reporting.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and help streamline processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, accounting principles, and ERP/Tally.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
