Job Description

Core Responsibilities: 1. System Administration Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates. 2. Network Management Set up and manage LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks. Monitor network traffic, performance, and usage. Implement firewalls and ensure network security. 3. User and Access Management Create and manage user accounts and access rights (Active Directory, LDAP). Set and enforce password policies. Provide user support and training on IT tools. 4. Security Management Ensure antivirus, endpoint protection, and firewalls are up to date. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions. 5. Hardware and Software Support Install and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Maintain an inventory of IT assets. 6. Backup and Recovery Set up scheduled backups and test recovery procedures. Ensure compliance with data retention policies.
