Senior Accountant

Role Overview The selected candidate will assist the audit and accounts team in performing audit engagements, financial reporting, and tax compliances under the supervision of senior professionals. The role offers significant exposure to diverse industries such as Manufacturing, Pharma, Real Estate, Textiles, and Services, and provides a platform for continuous professional growth toward qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Support in execution of Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, and Internal Audits in accordance with ICAI and Companies Act requirements. • Assist in preparation and finalization of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements. • Conduct GST, TDS, and income tax return filings for corporates, firms, and individuals. • Perform ledger scrutiny, vouching, verification of assets and liabilities, and analytical review procedures. • Prepare and maintain audit documentation, working papers, and client correspondence in compliance with SQC-1 standards. • Support senior team members in CMA data preparation, financial projections, and loan documentation for funding proposals. • Contribute to MIS reporting, management representation letters, and certification work as per engagement scope. • Participate in research on Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income-tax Act, and GST provisions applicable to client industries.
