Job Description

Job Summary:

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage
general accounting
functions including
ledger maintenance
,
journal entries
, and
financial reconciliations
.
Oversee
billing
,
sales and purchase accounting
, and prepare
tax invoices
,
delivery challans
, and
e-way bills
.
Handle complete
GST filings
,
TDS returns
, and ensure statutory compliance.
Perform regular
bank reconciliations
and resolve discrepancies.
Manage
accounts receivable (AR)
and
accounts payable (AP)
cycles efficiently.
Coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor accounts and payments.
Prepare and review financial reports and assist in finalization of accounts.
Ensure compliance with
income tax
,
GST laws
, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain records related to
import and export transactions
and assist with required documentation.
Support audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary financial data and explanations.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Semi CA).
Proficient in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Zoho books, SAP, Tally and Ms Excel.
Hands-on experience in
billing
,
tax documentation
, and
reconciliation processes
.
Familiarity with
import/export procedures
and compliance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Should have Experience working in the
Manufacturing Industry.
