Senior Accountant

Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Present financial reports to management to support decision-making processes. Oversee the tracking and reconciliation of incoming payments from clients and customers. Ensure payments are applied correctly to customer accounts and follow up on any discrepancies or delays. Maintain a clear and accurate record of all incoming payments and related transactions. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, and assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns. Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations. Assist in forecasting cash needs and managing bank reconciliations. Ensure that internal controls are in place to safeguard the organization's financial assets. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations. Support the Finance Manager/Director with audits, financial reviews, and process improvements. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, assisting in their professional development. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and assist in decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely computation and deduction of TDS as per applicable laws. Oversee the filing of TDS returns, IT, GST and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Keep track of changes in tax laws, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all relevant tax obligations.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
