A fast-growing mineral logistics and trading enterprise, specializing in coal transportation, mineral supply chain management, and trading of mineral ores. With a large and expanding fleet, the company offers end-to-end logistics solutions and aims to diversify into integrated trading, infrastructure, and allied services, delivering operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Position Overview:

The Senior Accounts & Finance Official will lead, manage, and strengthen the entire Accounts and Finance Department. This senior management position requires extensive financial expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multi-dimensional accounting operations in a logistics and trading environment.

The ideal candidate will ensure financial discipline, statutory compliance, cost control, and develop strategic financial frameworks aligned with the company’s growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
  • Present financial reports and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Develop MIS reports related to logistics operations, fleet performance, fuel consumption, and cost tracking.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Formulate annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Monitor and analyze budget variances to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Implement cost-reduction measures, particularly in transport operations, fuel management, and vehicle maintenance.

3. Statutory Compliance & Auditing

  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC filings, and all statutory obligations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and consultants for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain updated documentation and records for statutory inspections and audit purposes.

4. Cash Flow & Fund Management

  • Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and bank transactions.
  • Oversee fund allocation for operations, vendor payments, and fleet expansion.
  • Maintain credit control by managing receivables, payables, and ensuring liquidity.

5. Strategic Financial Planning

  • Design and implement financial systems, policies, and internal controls to strengthen organizational finance.
  • Participate in strategic business decisions, including investment evaluation and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Support management in banking, fundraising, and financial negotiations.

6. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team, ensuring effective delegation, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, checklists, and accounting protocols for all financial activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Logistics teams to align financial and operational goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter or Final) / CMA (Preferred).
  • Experience: 8–15 years in Accounts & Finance, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial capacity.
  • Industry Preference: Logistics, Transport, Coal Trading, or Mining sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet accounting, fuel & maintenance tracking, and logistics cost analysis.
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards and tax compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and statutory laws.
  • Analytical thinking with high attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.

Remuneration:

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
