Job Title: Senior Accountant Industry: Manufacturing / FMCG (Packaged Drinking Water) Functional Area: Accounts & Finance Role Category: Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant Job Location: Dhanbad, Jharkhand Employment Type: Full Time Job Description We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for our manufacturing unit. The candidate should have strong experience in GST, taxation, and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and journal entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle GST returns, reconciliation, audits, and compliance Manage TDS, Income Tax computation and filings Bank reconciliation and cash flow management Inventory accounting for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods Monitor production costs, wastage, and cost variance Prepare MIS reports for management review Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities Handle payroll processing, PF, ESI, and statutory deductions Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation laws Candidate Profile Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) preferred Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience Experience in manufacturing / FMCG industry is mandatory Key Skills GST Compliance & Returns TDS & Income Tax Cost Accounting & Inventory Management Tally / Accounting ERP MS Excel & MIS Reporting Statutory Compliance Audit Coordination Salary ₹ As per industry standards / Based on experience
