Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Accounting & Finance

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including vouchers, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Maintain books of accounts up to finalization (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow management.

2. Payroll Management (End-to-End)

• Handle complete payroll processing for all employees.
• Manage PF, ESI, PT, TDS on salaries, and statutory payroll compliance.
• Coordinate with HR for attendance, incentives, deductions, and employee records.
• Ensure timely salary disbursement and payroll MIS.

3. GST & Taxation

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns).
• Reconcile GSTR-2A / 2B with purchase registers and ITC claims.
• Handle GST audits, notices, and departmental follow-ups.
• Manage TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) and income-tax compliance.

4. Auditing & Compliance

• Lead internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.

5. Purchase Accounting & Vendor Management

• Verify and post purchase invoices (inward & outward).
• Manage vendor onboarding, reconciliation, and payment schedules.
• Track credit terms, advances, and outstanding balances.
• Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely payments.

6. Inventory & Stock Maintenance

• Monitor inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with stores and production for stock reconciliation.
• Track consumption, wastage, and stock variance.
• Ensure accurate stock valuation and reporting.

7. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports on sales, expenses, stock, payroll, and profitability.
• Provide budget vs actual analysis and financial insights to management.
• Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial data.
