Job Description

Key responsibilities for a Security Manager: 1. Strategy Development: Create and implement security strategies to safeguard people, property, and assets. Assess risks and vulnerabilities to design effective security measures. 2. Personnel Supervision: Oversee security supervisors, guards, and staff. Train and guide security personnel on protocols and procedures. 3. Emergency Response: Develop emergency plans and coordinate responses. Ensure efficient evacuation procedures during crises. 4. Surveillance and Monitoring: Use surveillance systems to monitor premises. Detect and address security breaches promptly. 5. Policy Enforcement: Enforce security policies and regulations. Investigate incidents and maintain incident reports. 6. Risk Assessment: Continuously assess threats and vulnerabilities. Implement preventive measures to mitigate risks. 7 . PSARA Compliance: Strong knowledge of PSARA Act, 2005. Must have to legal parameters and maintain high standards of professionalism. Must have compliance includes background checks, training, and adherence to safety protocols Remember, adaptability and strong leadership skills are crucial for success in this role.
