Web Content and SEO Specialist

Location:

Responsibilities:

On-Page & Technical SEO

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and apply findings to content and metadata.
• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking structures, and image alt text.
• Perform ongoing SEO audits and implement technical improvements including:
• Site speed and performance optimization
• Mobile-first design checks and responsive UX
• Structured data/schema markup implementation
• Crawlability and indexing enhancements
• XML sitemap and robots.txt management
• Canonicalization and duplicate content fixes
• Redirects (301/302) and broken link fixes
• Monitor site health using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Sitebulb.

Website Management

• Manage and update website content using CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
• Maintain web accessibility standards and adhere to SEO and UX best practices.
• Coordinate with developers on SEO-related technical changes and implementations.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance of organic search traffic, keyword rankings, and content engagement using Google Analytics and SEO platforms.
• Deliver regular insights and reports to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
• Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes, SEO trends, and web technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
• 6-8 years of experience in content-driven SEO and technical SEO roles
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as it relates to SEO
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, JIRA, etc.
• Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
• Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (SFCC, homegrown platform)
• Solid understanding of Google’s algorithm updates, Core Web Vitals, and mobile optimization
• Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) and how they affect SEO
• Experience with A/B testing tools and CRO strategies
• Knowledge of international SEO and multilingual site best practices
• Previous experience in e-commerce or SaaS environments
