As an SEO/SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive organic and paid search traffic to our website. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize our website, improve search engine rankings, and maximize visibility across search engines and online platforms. The ideal candidate should have 0.6-2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record in corporate marketing and product promotion. Knowledge of the product development or IT services industry is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies: Conduct keyword research, analyze website performance, and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement on-page and off-page SEO techniques to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Manage paid search campaigns: Plan, create, and optimize paid search campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social media advertising. Monitor campaign performance, adjust budgets, and optimize ad copy to maximize ROI.
- Conduct competitor analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies. Analyze competitor websites and campaigns to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to outperform them.
- Perform website audits: Evaluate website structure, content, and technical aspects to ensure they comply with best SEO practices. Provide recommendations for improvement, including URL structure, meta tags, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Monitor and analyze website performance: Use analytics tools to track key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and user behaviour. Generate regular reports and provide insights on performance trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with content and web development teams: Work closely with content creators to optimize website content and improve keyword targeting. Coordinate with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and ensure website usability and crawlability.
- Stay updated with industry changes: Keep abreast of search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging SEO/SEM techniques. Implement necessary adjustments to strategies and tactics to maintain optimal performance.
- Stay informed on emerging digital marketing trends: Continuously expand your knowledge of digital marketing, including social media advertising, email marketing, and other relevant channels. Identify opportunities to integrate SEO/SEM strategies with other marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO/SEM Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and search engine algorithms.
- Experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns using platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social media advertising.
- Proficiency in SEO and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and evolving SEO/SEM practices.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred.
