Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Plan and execute

    on-page optimization

    (meta tags, headings, content, URL structure, internal linking, etc.).
  • Implement effective

    off-page SEO

    strategies (backlink building, directory submissions, guest posting, influencer outreach).
  • Perform

    technical SEO audits

    and ensure site health (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile responsiveness).
  • Optimize existing website content and collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and web copy.
  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Stay updated with the latest

    Google algorithms

    , SEO trends, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with the design, development, and social media teams to align SEO strategies with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Work on

    local SEO

    strategies to boost visibility for target geographies.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an

    SEO Executive / SEO Specialist

    (1–3 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Knowledge of

    WordPress

    or other CMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with

    local SEO

    and Google Business Profile optimization.
  • Familiarity with

    content marketing

    and keyword-driven content strategies.
  • Knowledge of

    link-building strategies

    and outreach campaigns.
  • Understanding of

    SEO for YouTube/Video optimization

    (bonus).
