The SDET will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and activities within the entomo department and entomo’s quality assurance partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

·       Establish, review internal & partners' QA standards and methodologies for testing entomo's applications, systems, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering team, project management, and business stakeholders, to define quality requirements, acceptance criteria, and test plans.

·       Ability to provide inputs and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications.

·       Identify and prioritize areas of focus for testing and define appropriate test coverage.

·       Monitor and analyze test results, identify defects, track them to resolution, and report on QA metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.

·       Collaborate with development teams to facilitate defect triaging, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve software quality.

·       Conduct regular reviews of QA processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Skills

·       Proven experience (Minimum 5 Years) in software quality assurance, including hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, and defect management.

·       Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, quality assurance best practices, and testing methodologies.

·       Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques and tools, including test management tools, test automation frameworks, and performance testing tools.

·       Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

·       Excellent understanding of web technologies, APIs, and mobile application testing.

·       Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading QA teams and driving results.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Educational Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, application or engineering

·       Experience developing high-quality test strategies and test plans.

·       ISTQB and Scrum master
