Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Location: Mumbai (Work From Office)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based test automation applications
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST APIs, and automation scripts
• Work with microservices and distributed systems
• Create reusable PyTest fixtures, mock objects, and datasets
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Write and execute SQL queries
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams
• Manage test environments and troubleshoot issues
• Handle time-sensitive releases and ensure high-quality delivery

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• 3+ years in software development/testing
• Experience building & testing REST APIs
• Postman (pre/post scripts)
• PyTest automation (fixtures, mocks, assertions)
• Experience in microservices testing
• Strong SQL skills
• Git, Jira/Asana, Confluence, Jenkins

Good to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Kafka/queue systems
• API load testing
• API automation framework development
• Docker, AWS, Azure
• JavaScript basics
• Web UI automation (Selenium/TestNG/Mocha/Chai)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications
