Scrum Master

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master with over 5 years of experience in Agile project delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles and best practices. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to deliver high-quality products in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams, guiding them through Scrum and Agile frameworks.

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs effectively.

• Engage in overseas assignments and onsite client interactions as part of global project responsibilities, including relocation if required.

• Identify and remove obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress and productivity.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within the team.

• Track and report key Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, and team performance.

• Ensure alignment between technical and business goals by coordinating with stakeholders and development teams.

• Mentor team members on Agile values, principles, and practices to enhance overall team maturity.

• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to maintain consistency across teams.

• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or an equivalent technical discipline.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and software development life cycles.

• Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing distributed teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Agile tools

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS or Nexus.

• Familiarity with project tracking, dashboard and reporting tools.

• Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
