Job Description

  • Expertise with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean).
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
  • Develop and implement Agile best practices and standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
  • Works with Product Owners to help them maintain a quality Product Backlog, ensuring the Scrum Team always has well-defined backlog items ready to work on.
  • Generates performance metrics for the team (burndowns, burnups, velocity, capacity, etc.) and ensures the information is available to the rest of the organization.
  • Schedules and facilitates Scrum ceremonies as needed (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Retrospective, etc.).
  • Uses traditional Project Management methods to lead large, cross-functional projects as required.
  • Monitors the progress of Epics through multiple Scrum Teams and iterations.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining focus on the highest priority task.
  • Able to manage large projects that cross multiple business units and/or third parties.
  • Promotes an environment of transparency and respect, providing a foundation for building a continuously improving, high-performing team where individuals can realize their full potential.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure they are productive and time-boxed.
  • Assist the Product Owner with backlog management and refinement.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices and principles.
  • Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.
  • Track and report on team metrics and performance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align Agile initiatives with business goals.
  • Oversee any Agile transformation efforts across the organization.
  • Support the Scrum team in maintaining the Scrum board and tracking progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Learn and apply advanced Agile principles and practices applicable to fast-moving, global organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with groups at all levels of management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Admin / Mgmt. or related field.
