Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scrum Master Responsibilities

Service to the Product Owner:

Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are well understood across the Scrum Team.
Facilitate effective Product Backlog management and refinement sessions.
Help the Product Owner define clear and concise backlog items and prioritize them to maximize value.
Support empirical product planning and foster an agile mindset within the team.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies as required (Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, etc.).

Service to the Development Team:

Coach the team on self-organization, collaboration, and cross-functionality.
Remove impediments and shield the team from external blockers.
Guide the team in delivering high-quality, high-value products.
Foster continuous improvement and ensure effective use of Agile practices and tools.

Service to the Organization:

Promote and embed Scrum principles within the organization.
Work with other Scrum Masters to enhance Agile maturity across teams.
Drive change to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the Scrum Teams.
Support organizational adoption of Agile frameworks and empirical product development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
15+ years of experience
Capital Markets and Banking domains
JIRA
Microsoft Office tools
communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

OFAC Sanctions processes
Negative News/Adverse Media Screening
Anti Money Laundering (AML)
