Job Description

Location: Aerospace Park, Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka Experience Required: 2–5 years in Supply Chain Management within the EMS industry Key Responsibilities Procurement Management: Source and purchase capital goods, plant machinery, consumables, and electronic/electro mechanical components required for PCBA and box build operations. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost effective procurement. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules. Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking. Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Implement and oversee inventory control systems to track material usage and minimize waste. Vendor Development and Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to expand the vendor base. Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost metrics. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to quality or delivery. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with ISO and IATF standards. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues with suppliers. Maintain documentation related to procurement, inventory, and supplier performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in supply chain management within the EMS industry, with a focus on procurement and logistics. Proficiency in procurement processes and inventory management. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of ISO and IATF standards is an added advantage.
