Job Overview:

The School Business Unit Expansion Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing the expansion of new school units under the organization’s brand. The role requires strong business acumen, networking skills, and operational knowledge of the education sector to identify potential markets, establish new school branches, and ensure successful project rollout from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expansion Strategy & Market Research

  • Identify and evaluate new geographical areas for school expansion based on market potential and demographic studies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and competitor analysis to determine the viability of new school projects.
  • Develop business models and expansion roadmaps aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.

2. Business Development & Partnership Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders — school management committees, investors, landowners, and local authorities.
  • Drive franchise and partnership opportunities where applicable.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements for new school setups or collaborations.

3. Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end project setup, from location identification to infrastructure readiness and staffing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, Admin, Finance, and Marketing) to ensure timely and successful school launches.
  • Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and necessary licensing.

4. Financial Planning & Performance

  • Prepare detailed financial projections and ROI analysis for proposed expansions.
  • Track and monitor performance of new school units post-launch to ensure revenue and enrollment targets are met.
  • Optimize operational costs without compromising academic and infrastructure standards.

5. Branding & Market Positioning

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional promotional strategies.
  • Support public relations and community engagement initiatives to build the school’s reputation in new markets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record in business expansion, preferably in the education sector.
  • Project management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with financial and operational understanding.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Education Management (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, expansion, or operations within the education industry or franchise management.
  • Prior experience in setting up or scaling educational institutions will be a strong advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
