Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for various projects in line with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SCADA architectures and solutions.
  • Perform system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SCADA systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct system performance tests, quality assurance checks, and compliance validation.
  • Support the integration of PLCs, HMIs, and communication systems with SCADA platforms.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SCADA system development, configuration, and maintenance.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, GE iFIX, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
  • Experience in HMI development and design.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, industrial communication systems, and data acquisition methods (e.g., Modbus, OPC, DNP3, MQTT)
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements (Oil & Gas, Mining, Pharmaceuticals, etc.)
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or project management practices.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn emerging technologies.
  • Self-motivated with a strong passion for quality and excellence.
