We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in HANA system architecture, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and overall system administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Linux and a deep understanding of HANA database operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SAP HANA database installations, configurations, and upgrades (including HANA 1.0 to 2.0 migrations and MDC setups).
• Perform daily administrative tasks including starting/stopping HANA databases (single and multi-tenant) during maintenance windows.
• Execute HANA backups using Backint via HANA Studio and handle backup and recovery operations including point-in-time recovery.
• Monitor database health and performance using HANA Studio and act on system alerts.
• Apply and manage HANA licenses, perform client upgrades, and manage parameter configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues related to memory, CPU, performance, and backups by analyzing trace and log files.
• Enable and manage audit logs and performance traces for user activity and performance analysis.
• Perform user and role management in HANA environments.
• Respond promptly to high-priority (P1/P2) incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery preparedness.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle message processing, incident management, service/change requests, and problem/root cause analysis.
• Execute installation, patching, upgrades, and migration tasks.
• Monitor performance and carry out tuning to maintain system efficiency.
• Ensure system availability through backup, restore, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
• Provide technical consulting to enhance system architecture and operations.
• Develop and implement tools and practices for problem prevention and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions and support junior team members through mentorship.
• Lead or support technical migration and optimization projects.
