SAP SD Functional Consultant

Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution modules, combined with expertise in solution architecture, system design, and integration within complex IT environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects involving service-oriented architecture, cloud security, and microservices, supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. The successful applicant will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP SD solutions aligned with business needs and technical standards.

Duties

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD configurations and solutions.
• Design and implement SAP SD processes, ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as MM, FI, and CO.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including system design specifications and interface definitions utilizing RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration protocols.
• Lead system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure optimal performance of SAP SD functionalities.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure system security, load balancing, virtualization (VMware, ESXi), and cloud security measures are properly implemented.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git for SAP-related developments.
• Conduct system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence analysis to safeguard SAP environments against security threats.
• Participate in SDLC activities following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
• Provide expertise on related technologies such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, JavaScript frameworks (React Express), C#, Python scripting, and database management systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases.
• Assist in the development of APIs for system integrations using RESTful API standards and manage network configurations including VPNs, firewalls, DNS settings, DHCP services.
• Offer ongoing support for system administration tasks such as GPO management, system hardening practices, and operating system configurations across Windows and Linux platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant with a comprehensive understanding of SAP modules related to sales order processing, pricing procedures, billing cycles, delivery management, and partner functions.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture principles, and system design best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integrations involving web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, middleware tools like MuleSoft or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting), DevOps tools (Jenkins), version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of network security protocols including VPNs, firewalls; experience managing DNS/DHCP settings; knowledge of system hardening techniques for Windows/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of database systems including Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience working within Agile development frameworks; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
• Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales & Distribution or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: ₹10.00 - ₹13.00 per month
