Typically ~ 7 years of SAP MM experience. For some roles 7+ years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in full-lifecycle implementation of SAP Materials Management (MM) module: blueprint, design, configuration, testing, cut-over, go-live & post-go-live support.
• Configure MM processes: procurement (PR, PO, outline agreements, release procedures, pricing), inventory management (stock transfer, reservation, batch/shelf life), master data (material master, vendor info, source list, quota arrangements) etc.
• Ensure integration of MM with other modules: e.g., SAP S/4HANA procurement/inbound logistics with warehouse, logistics, SD, FI/CO etc.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and map current (“As-Is”) and target (“To-Be”) processes; perform gap analysis and translate into SAP solution design.
• Provide support for master-data, transactional data, cut-over and migration tasks when applicable.
• (For senior/lead roles) Provide guidance to junior consultants, manage work-streams, coordinate with onsite/offshore teams, support testing/automation & process optimization.

Mandatory Skills / Technical Requirements

• Strong functional expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) module.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations (preferably) and knowledge of Fiori, launchpad, UX.
• Deep understanding of procurement & inventory processes: PR/PO, outline agreements, automatic account determination, inventory movements, batch/serial, shelf life, stock transfers.
• Strong master data knowledge: material master, info-records, condition records, source list/quota arrangement
• Ability to work in cross-functional environment, collaborate with SD, FI/CO, WM, logistics teams.
• Good communication & stakeholder management skills: business & technical.
• For some roles: experience in debugging ABAP interfaces, working with integration, performing functional specs for RICEF objects.
