This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SAP Controlling (SAP CO) Lead Consultant in India.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead SAP S/4HANA Controlling initiatives, shaping the design, implementation, and optimization of CO processes across global landscapes. You will work closely with business teams and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. The position involves leading workshops, managing configuration, and driving end-to-end project delivery. - Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA CO process design, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA/Margin Analysis.
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard and Fit/Gap workshops, translating business requirements into functional specifications and scalable solutions.
- Define, maintain, and govern global CO templates and standards.
- Configure SAP CO components, including Universal Journal-based integration, cost elements, allocations, settlements, and reporting structures.
- Ensure seamless integration of CO processes with FI, MM, PP, SD, PM, and other SAP modules.
- Serve as CO Workstream Lead for S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and upgrades, including RICEFW preparation, testing, and end-to-end process delivery.
- Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to team members and support change management initiatives.
- Requirements:
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP CO experience, including at least 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations as a CO Lead.
- Strong expertise in Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing (Material Ledger/Actual Costing), Internal Orders, Project Controlling, and CO-PA/Margin Analysis.
- Proficiency in Universal Journal (ACDOCA), SAP Fiori, and S/4HANA simplification.
- Experience working with global, cross-cultural stakeholders and multi-country rollouts.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Finance or CO certification and experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Willingness to work US PST hours (8:30 PM – 5:30 AM IST).
