SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Lead Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design Delivery

• Lead end-to-end design of SAP S/4HANA CO processes including:

  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

  • Internal Orders

  • Product Costing

  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) / Margin Analysis

• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions and functional specs.

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard and Fit/Gap workshops.

• Define and maintain the global CO template.

Configuration Integration

• Configure SAP S/4HANA CO components including:

  • Universal Journal-based CO integration

  • Cost elements, allocations, settlements

  • Reporting structures and value flows

• Lead configuration for:

  • Product Costing (Standard/Actual Costing)

  • Material Ledger

  • Cost Object Controlling

• Ensure seamless integration with FI, MM, PP, SD, PM, and other modules.

Project Leadership

• Serve as CO Workstream Lead for S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.

• Prepare functional specs for RICEFW and support development/testing cycles.

• Drive end-to-end financial operational flows with cross-functional teams.

• Deliver training and support change management initiatives.

Required Skills Experience

• 10+ years

• 2+ end-to-end

• Deep expertise in:

  • Cost Center Profit Center Accounting

  • Product Costing (Material Ledger, Actual Costing)

  • Internal Orders Project Controlling

  • CO-PA / Margin Analysis

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Universal Journal (ACDOCA)

  • SAP Fiori

  • S/4HANA simplification

• Excellent documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proven experience handling global, cross-cultural stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or CO certification.

• Experience with SAP Activate.
