Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
Perform system copies, client administration, transport management, and background job scheduling.
Monitor SAP systems using tools like Solution Manager, CCMS, or third-party monitoring tools.
Manage SAP kernel upgrades, patch application, and database administration (HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL).
Perform user administration and role/profile management in coordination with the security team.
Work closely with functional and development teams to support application changes and deployments.
Troubleshoot system performance issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
Participate in SAP system migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery strategies.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness for SAP environments.
Maintain documentation related to system configuration, architecture, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.
Proven experience with S/4HANA, ECC, or Suite on HANA environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP installation, configuration, and tuning on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
Experience in SAP HANA database administration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Web Dispatcher, Gateway, and SSL configuration.
Proficient in managing transport requests, client strategy, and change management.
Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAP landscape.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager (7.2) for system monitoring and diagnostics.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Certified Technology Associate in SAP BASIS or SAP HANA.
Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
Exposure to automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile/Scrum methodology.
