Salon Manager

Position Overview

The Salon Manager oversees the daily operations of the salon to ensure exceptional client experiences, efficient workflow, and high service standards. This role combines leadership, customer service, and business management to support the salon’s performance and professional image.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including appointment scheduling and service flow.
  • Ensure salon cleanliness, sanitation compliance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of products, supplies, and equipment; coordinate orders with vendors.
  • Monitor service quality and maintain consistency among staff.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Take corrective action when needed.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
  • Prepare reports for ownership or upper management as required.
  • Promote and upsell salon service packages across skin, hair, and makeup categories
  • Oversee inventory management for all salon-use and retail products; ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Meet vendors for new product ranges and coordinate training sessions for the team to upgrade their skills
  • Interact with clients, collect feedback, address concerns, and ensure a premium customer experience.

Customer Service

  • Greet clients and resolve complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure excellent customer experiences and uphold salon service standards.
  • Manage client records, preferences, and loyalty programs.

Sales & Business Development

  • Promote salon services, retail products, and special offers to drive revenue.
  • Analyze sales reports and develop strategies to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Maintain relationships with product vendors and industry partners.
  • Assist in marketing efforts including social media, promotions, and events.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in salon, spa, or beauty industry management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in salon software (booking, POS, inventory).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of retail sales and customer service best practices.
  • Cosmetology or esthetics license (optional but beneficial).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
