Sales Team Leader - Horeca & Railway

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing the assigned key accounts and identifying, acquiring, and managing new key accounts in the HORECA & Travel channel for Chennai in the FMCG/ Beverages industry. As a Sales Team Leader, your primary objective will be to track sales on a quarterly or monthly basis, create annual customer plans, manage accounts through various strategies, collaborate with internal teams for promotional activities, negotiate long-term deals, manage assets and stock at various accounts, and keep track of sales statistics for future strategies. Additionally, you will be required to conduct market visits, interact with stakeholders, and provide feedback for improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Track sales quarterly or monthly and achieve sales objectives for the HORECA & Travel channel in Chennai - Create an annual customer plan for all accounts and gain client approval - Grow current important accounts through consumer promotions, trade marketing, pricing mechanisms, and merchandising inputs - Collaborate with Marketing and Channel Support Teams for promotional activities - Negotiate, convert, and secure long-term deals with important customers - Manage assets and stock alignment at various accounts - Keep track of sales statistics for comparison and gaining insights - Conduct market visits to Assigned Key Accounts - Interact with internal and external stakeholders, supervise MGRs, and provide feedback for improvement Qualification Required: - Graduation/PG degree - 4 to 8 years of experience in a relevant field - Functional skills in Customer Relationship Management, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Financial knowledge, MS Office Tools proficiency, Guidance, Motivation, Proactiveness, Environmental Scanning, Communication, Patience, Interpersonal skills, Grooming, and Basic mathematics - Language known: English and local language proficiency Please note that this role involves 70% travel within the assigned territory.,
