Job Title: Sales Team Leader – Insurance Job Summary The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of insurance sales executives to achieve sales targets. The role focuses on driving business growth, improving team performance, ensuring compliance, and building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate a team of insurance sales executives/agents Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for insurance products Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales agents Monitor daily sales activities, productivity, and performance metrics Conduct regular team meetings, coaching, and performance reviews Support the team in closing high-value or complex insurance cases Ensure adherence to company policies, IRDAI guidelines, and compliance standards Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners Analyze market trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategy Prepare and submit sales reports to management Required Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Sound knowledge of insurance products and sales processes Target-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to train, mentor, and retain sales talent Proficient in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting Experience & Qualifications Experience: 3–6 years in insurance sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team handling or leadership role Qualification: Graduate Industry: Life / Health / General Insurance
