Job Role:

  • As a Sales Officer candidate has consistently driven sales volume growth in the outlets under his responsibility & also successfully contributed to business expansion through effective new client acquisition strategies. Ensure efficient order-taking, merchandising, and execution of promotional activities at GT outlets in alignment with company targets and objectives. Manage distributors as well as supervise and guide Junior Sales Officers / DSRs.

Job Profile:

Order Taking & JSO Management:

  • Take orders from key GT and wholesale outlets while reporting on sales volumes and outlet potential.
  • Actively push and promote SKUs not currently being ordered.
  • Manage, train, and guide JSOs/DSRs and distributors on company policies and processes.
  • Ensure achievement of area sales targets and defined KPIs.

Merchandising & Promotion:

  • Advise retailers on ongoing promotions, pricing, and schemes.
  • Ensure proper in-store execution of POP materials, promotional activities, and shelf management.

Distributor Management:

  • Oversee distributor stocks, sales performance, and claims management.
  • Monitor and optimize distributor ROI for sustainable business growth.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve on-ground issues promptly.
  • Prepare and share weekly and monthly reports on distributors, outlets, and SKU performance.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand coverage and increase sales.

Desired Profile:

  • Graduate (Sales / Marketing) higher qualifications preferred with 2 to 4 year experience of proven field sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Candidate should be a high-performing Sales Professional in FMCG sector within General Trade (GT).
  • Candidate must have experience into Belgaum, Gulbarga, Hospet, Bellari, Mangalore , Uduipi, Dharwad
  • Strong understanding of the local FMCG market dynamics and trends.
  • Hands-on experience in managing distributors, stocks, and ROI performance.
  • Manpower management expertise, including supervision and training of JSOs/DSRs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
  • High energy, execution-focused, and target-driven mind-set.
