Job Description

Role Objective: To lead business development and sales for Commercial & Industrial solar rooftop projects, focusing on manufacturing units, warehouses, MSMEs, educational institutions, hospitals, and large commercial complexes. Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and engage C&I clients for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects (50 KW – 1 MW+). Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate and institutional accounts. Conduct techno-commercial discussions with decision makers (MDs, CFOs, Plant Heads). Understand customer energy consumption patterns and propose solar solutions with financial ROI & payback analysis. Prepare and deliver customized proposals, presentations, and RFP responses. Coordinate with the Design & Projects Team for feasibility, site survey, and project execution inputs. Negotiate contracts and close deals ensuring profitability. Maintain strong relationships with industry bodies, associations, and government agencies to generate leads. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets in line with KGDC’s aggressive growth plans. Candidate Profile: Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (B.Tech / MBA preferred). Experience: 4–8 years in B2B sales, preferably in Renewable Energy, Electrical Equipment, Capital Goods, or Industrial Solutions. Proven track record of closing large-ticket sales (₹50 lakh – ₹5 Cr range). Strong networking and relationship-building skills with industrial clients and government stakeholders Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively within Jharkhand & Odisha.
