📋 Role Overview: We are hiring a Telecaller who will be responsible for calling and nurturing leads from Odisha and Jharkhand, explaining the benefits of solar, and assisting in appointment setting for the Sales team. Job Objective To identify, approach, and convert commercial and industrial clients interested in setting up solar rooftop systems (typically 25 kW to 1 MW+). This is a techno-commercial role requiring both business development and consultative selling skills, supported by KGDC's technical team. Key Responsibilities A. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition Identify and target commercial and industrial clients (factories, hotels, hospitals, schools, malls, etc.). Conduct on-ground lead generation through field visits, B2B networking, and market research. Engage decision-makers (owners, directors, plant heads, procurement managers) and generate interest. B. Technical Sales & Proposal Management Understand the client’s energy needs, roof area, and DISCOM connection type. Coordinate with KGDC’s design team for technical proposal, layout, ROI & payback analysis. Conduct client meetings, explain benefits of going solar with Tata Power Solar & KGDC. Handle objections and guide clients through financing, subsidy, or CAPEX/OPEX models.
