Job Description

IT Sales Executive – Job Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and research potential clients through cold calls, networking, online platforms, and industry events. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for IT products and services. Work with marketing teams to generate qualified leads. 2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building Understand client business needs and propose relevant IT solutions. Schedule meetings, presentations, and product demos for potential customers. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for upselling and cross-selling opportunities. 3. Sales Presentations & Proposals Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to decision-makers. Create detailed proposals, quotations, and tenders in line with client requirements. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales. 4. Product Knowledge & Solution Selling Develop a strong understanding of the company’s IT products, services, and competitive advantages. Recommend tailored solutions including software, hardware, cloud services, and managed IT services. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings. 5. Sales Targets & Reporting Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions. Prepare regular sales reports for management review. 6. Coordination & Post-Sales Support Work with technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions. Assist in resolving client concerns and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Follow up for payments and contract renewals. 7. Market Research & Business Development Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities. Provide feedback to management for product/service improvements. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company offerings. KPI Metrics for IT Sales Executive: Number of leads generated monthly. Conversion rate from lead to deal. Revenue achieved vs target. Client retention rate. Average deal size.
