Role & responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic SEO Team Leader to drive the organic growth of our EdTech platform. The ideal candidate will lead a team of SEO specialists, develop effective search strategies, and ensure high-ranking visibility across major search engines. This role requires strong analytical skills, in-depth SEO knowledge, and a results-oriented approach tailored to the competitive EdTech market. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team to execute data-driven SEO strategies. Develop and implement both on-page and off-page optimization plans for the companys websites, landing pages, and content. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend evaluations relevant to the EdTech sector. Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc. Collaborate with the content, product, and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented. Oversee link-building campaigns and outreach strategies. Optimize website architecture, content, and linking to improve indexing and ranking. Stay updated on the latest search engine algorithms, industry trends, and EdTech-specific SEO opportunities. Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations. Ensure all SEO activities align with brand guidelines and the companys digital marketing objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field. 4–7 years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of improving organic rankings and driving traffic growth in the EdTech industry (preferred). Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools. Experience in technical SEO, content optimization, and link-building. Excellent leadership, team management, and project management skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
