Job Description The Sales Manager reports to the Sector Manager and is responsible for all sales related activities for Rotork products. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all sales related activities for Chemical, Process and Industrial (CPI) opportunities Develops and maintains relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners Effectively manages local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) and maximizes the performance of these channels. Monitors and pursues project sales as well as service and aftermarket sales at existing customers. First responder to customer needs, while also engaging with and assisting the company’s Factory Service Group Delivers effective reporting / Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to ensure that data relating to their sales activities is recorded and shared with others when needed. Works in co-operation with their Manager and other Area Sales Managers to develop a sales plan that is aligned with the goals of the Company. Responsible for providing regular business forecasts for all products and services. Generates monthly sales reports with the regional sales manager which can be used to accurately project a business forecast. Act as the face of the business and have a wide range of responsibilities and customers. These will range from end users to presenting to new and existing customers, EPC's and Feed consultants to drive sales and meet forecasts. Qualifications 7-12 Years of Technical sales experience in Valve automation products. Valve Actuator selling experience will be an added advantage. Experience in working with CPI End users, EPCs, Consultants, and OEMs is a must. Added advantage will be knowledge of the HVAC & Data center, the Marine, and the Distillery Industry. A proven track record of achieving sales targets. Ability to build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Knowledge and experience of sales techniques, including forecasting and identifying market trends and analysis A Bachelor of Engineering degree is a must & PGDM/MBA will be an added advantage. A good command of the English language is a must (Spoken & Written) Additional Information Willing to travel and be out on the road for the majority of the week Capable of communicating at all levels and have strong business acumen Able to demonstrate integrity and honesty Can lead, motivate, and create a positive working culture, through leading by example Is commercially capable – keeping up to date with competitor information and market trends and who thinks in terms of profit, loss and added value Will work collaboratively across a variety of business units, challenging siloed thinking wherever it appears Is Charismatic and has an inspiring personality, with strong entrepreneurial flair and business acumen. Strong cross-functional coordination and able to track progress till execution.
