Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential dealers, distributors, architects, builders, and contractors.
  • Generate leads and convert them into sales orders.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing clients to strengthen relationships.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
  • Maintain daily sales reports (DSR) and submit to Sales Manager.
  • Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven with a go-getter attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of sanitaryware/bathroom fittings market preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

2. Senior Sales Executive

Position Objective:
To drive higher sales volumes, manage a larger set of clients, and mentor junior sales executives while expanding market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle key accounts and ensure repeat business.
  • Guide new sales executives in market approach and product knowledge.
  • Negotiate pricing and sales terms within company policies.
  • Achieve higher sales targets through proactive market coverage.
  • Track competitor activity and provide feedback to management.
  • Ensure dealer/distributor satisfaction through strong relationship management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong client relationship management.
  • Ability to train and support junior sales staff.
  • Analytical thinking for pricing and customer profitability.
  • Good knowledge of sanitaryware market dynamics.

3. Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Position Objective:
To manage sales operations within a defined geographical area, ensuring business growth, channel development, and achievement of area sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of sales executives/senior executives.
  • Develop and manage dealer/distributor networks in the area.
  • Implement sales strategies and promotional schemes provided by management.
  • Monitor sales performance, market share, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure achievement of area-level sales and collection targets.
  • Provide training and motivation to the sales team.
  • Report area-wise performance and suggest corrective measures.

4. Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Position Objective:
To lead sales operations across multiple areas/territories within a region, drive revenue growth, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, strategize, and execute sales targets for the entire region.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate Area Sales Managers and their teams.
  • Develop and expand distribution networks and ensure dealer profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for regional promotional activities.
  • Monitor competitor strategies and recommend countermeasures.
  • Ensure compliance with company’s sales, pricing, and credit policies.
  • Prepare regional sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as large distributors, architects, project developers, and government procurement agencies.
