Job Title: Software Sales Manager
Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 5+ Years in Software Sales

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B software sales, preferably in SaaS, ERP, or customized enterprise software solutions. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team leader and their respective sales team, ensuring targets are met, and driving the overall software sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team leader and their team of software sales executives.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Client Acquisition: Drive new business by identifying and approaching potential clients in targeted industries.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor and support lead generation, opportunity tracking, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess team performance, provide training, and optimize processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to align strategies and deliver value to clients.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales performance reports and market feedback to senior management.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software or IT solutions sales (minimum 5 years in a managerial role).
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS models, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales is a plus.
  • Experience in sectors like Large Scale Industries , Oil & Gas Sector , Power sector , MSME infrastructure contractors etc.
