Position : Sales Manager
Location: Ahmedabad (Gujarat Region)
Industry: Industrial Automation / Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to lead indirect sales efforts in the Gujarat region. This role focuses on growing business through a robust partner and distributor network, driving OEM engagement, and promoting automation solutions across industries. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, strategic sales expertise, and the ability to build and manage high-value relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow business with targeted OEMs and system integrators.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage channel partners including distributors and service providers.
  • Promote a portfolio of automation solutions, including PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, geared motors, and motion control systems.
  • Understand customer needs and align technical solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct product demos, roadshows, and support regional marketing initiatives.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle: pre-sales, solutioning, negotiation, and post-sales support.
  • Collaborate with vertical and regional teams to drive solution selling.
  • Achieve sales targets, including revenue growth and timely payment collection.
  • Maintain CRM data and sales reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Regular travel within the assigned region.

Candidate Profile – Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • MBA/PGDBA is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • 3–10 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in automation, motion control, or electrical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation products and OEM environments.
  • Experience in managing indirect channels or partner networks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and quick to learn new technologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
  • Deep understanding of regional market dynamics in Gujarat.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for customer and partner visits.
