Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify industrial leads such as factories, warehouses, textile units, MSMEs, and large-scale commercial buildings.
  • Generate business through field visits, industry networks, digital platforms, and cold calling.
  • Conduct client meetings and site assessments in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Understand client energy usage, load profiles, and suggest customized solar solutions based on feasibility.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, ROI and payback analysis, and address client queries.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and close contracts to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain regular follow-up and relationship management throughout the sales cycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with DISCOM guidelines, net metering policies, state subsidies, and industrial energy consumption trends.
  • Represent the company in industry events, expos, and client presentations.

  • Coordinate with internal design, finance, and execution teams for smooth handover and installation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Business Administration.
  • 5 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in solar, energy, electrical or industrial products/services.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial power consumption, solar system components, and energy savings calculations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle long sales cycles and close high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and basic solar design platforms.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.

  • Two-wheeler/ Four-wheeler with valid license is required.
