Job Overview : We are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong background in industrial sales to lead our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in engineering sales , particularly in Automotive , Mechanical , Machine Tool Sales , and Project Sales . The candidate should possess the ability to guide a team strategically and technically to convert leads into successful business deals. This individual will be responsible for driving the sales process from lead generation to conversion while managing and mentoring a team to achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities : Lead Generation & Conversion : Manage the complete sales cycle from identifying leads to closing deals in Automotive , Mechanical , Machine Tool Sales , and Project Sales sectors. Team Leadership : Guide and mentor the sales team to help them meet and exceed individual and collective targets. Foster a collaborative environment to drive team success. Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets, identify growth opportunities, and expand the customer base. Technical Support : Provide technical guidance to the sales team, ensuring that all proposals, presentations, and communications are aligned with the latest engineering technologies and product offerings. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. Market Insights : Stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs. Provide feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategies. Sales Reporting : Regularly report on sales activities, targets, and progress to senior management. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to align sales strategies with technical capabilities and product offerings. Required Qualifications & Experience : Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). MBA is a plus. Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering sales , with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Industry Knowledge : Deep knowledge of the Automotive , Mechanical , Machine Tool Sales , and Project Sales industries. Sales Skills : Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales strategies, and close deals in competitive industrial markets . Technical Acumen : Strong understanding of engineering products and solutions, with the ability to communicate technical details to both clients and team members. Leadership : Experience in managing teams, setting targets, and guiding them to achieve goals. Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels. Software : Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), Microsoft Office Suite, and any other relevant tools.
