Admission Counsellor

Admission Counsellor will act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents, guiding them smoothly through the entire admission process. This role demands excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a strong ability to understand parent expectations while representing the values and quality standards of Pallavi Group of Schools. The counsellor should be able to present the schools strengths effectively, build trust, and convert inquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Inquiry Handling

* Attend phone calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries with professionalism and clarity.

* Provide accurate information about school programs, curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission procedures.

* Maintain and update inquiry records, follow-up logs, and admission trackers regularly.

2. Admission Counselling

* Understand parent requirements and provide personalised guidance in choosing the right academic path.

* Conduct campus tours, explain academic programs, and highlight unique features of the school.

* Assist parents in completing application forms and documentation.

3. Conversion & Relationship Building

* Follow up with potential parents at every stage of the admission cycle.

* Build strong parent relationships through consistent communication and trust-building.

* Meet admission targets and maintain high conversion ratios.

4. Coordination & Collaboration

* Coordinate with Principals, Academic Heads, Accounts Team, and Front Office for smooth admission processing.

* Support the marketing team during school events, admission drives, parent meets, and open-house sessions.

5. Reporting & Documentation

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on inquiries, follow-ups, visits, and admissions.

* Ensure all student data, documentation, and application forms are complete and error-free.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).

* Prior experience in school admissions or counselling roles is highly desirable.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills with a confident and pleasant personality.

* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.

* Good knowledge of MS Office tools and CRM platforms.

* Customer-focused, target-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.
