Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Export Manager to oversee our export operations and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with a proven track record in B2B sales and customer relationship management. This role is crucial for maintaining our competitive edge in the global market by effectively managing transportation, contracts, and client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement export strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of transportation planning, including coordination with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Oversee customer relationship management (CRM) processes to maintain strong relationships with clients and address any issues that arise.
  • Conduct account management activities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing sales deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant international trade laws.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software for data entry, reporting, and analysis of export operations.
  • Monitor pricing strategies to remain competitive in the logistics market while maximizing profitability.
  • Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including 3PL providers, NVOCCs, and internal departments to streamline operations.
  • Prepare contracts for transportation services and manage all aspects of logistics sales.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software for effective data handling.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on contract management and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in logistics sales, including inside sales and carrier sales.
  • Familiarity with EDI processes and AS400 systems is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making in transportation planning and logistics operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple accounts simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
